The second in our range of Gateaux de Voyage (traveller's cakes), our Lemon & Poppyseed Cake will surprise you with its moreish balance of confit lemon, a touch of marzipan for softness and the addictive crunch of poppyseeds. 

We start with whole lemons and gently cook them until softened, process to a pulp and this is folded through the other ingredients to make our moist and delicious cake unique. Decorated with dried, fragrant rose petals and the highest quality slivered pistachio, this cake is best enjoyed with a cup of Earl Grey tea to match the citrus notes, or a strong coffee.
